Sylvia in car reading Harry Potter. Red setter dog show in buildings next to car park. Easy route to pip at '5'. Follow the huge pipe to Dam at '8' Diversion to waterfall not possible due to rockfall. Steady climb to railed off platform at '9'. Steep descent to waterside and view of waterfall between cliffs. Disappointing view due to the small quantity of water with small rainfall this summer. Good view of stately waterfall on the Glenwinner Burn from Promontory. Above '11' pass through gate and follow path above fence. Wide track until '13' then disappears over exposed rock. Lost path so descended with difficultly to gate at end of golf course and followed top side of course watching the novices. From '16' descent steep passage between bungalows to road.
Hazards:
Strenuous and varied walk, good boots required.
