No remains of metal fence post at '2' turn at bend of road. New golf course from '10' to almost '12'. Take great care of cliff edge, difficult to see at times because of long grass. Cannot visit hall without payment (£3.50), I asked to take a photo and return. Families sheltering in four seated area sheltering near gatehouse and train terminus. From '12' to '14' and at hall. 19th hole 'clubhouse' very smart. Dawes Dyke Farm in ruins. At '15' take footpath between wooden stakes, not rubber track down to triangle and rod. Good track at bridge in Dyke Wood. Staircase from bridge (no handrail) to top of bank near car park. Sea very smooth and grey coloured today. Sylvia stayed in the car reading her book.
