Description:
Moderately strenuous walk at times. Sylvia reading her book in the car. Crossed golf course upto '4', lots of ladies playing golf. Path from '5' to '6' at start of cliff not as per map. Hard work between '5' and '6'. Now path is part of the fife costal walk. Waved towards car and Sylvia when near top of cliff. Surprisingly I could not see the car again until Kincraig Point. No gateway at '7' and no fence on right, only the cultivated field. This continues to '8' past several beaches. One beach contained two circular bales of hay which has recently rolled from the adjacent field. At '9' where caravan park starts walk down road towards edge of wood and alongside wood to '1''. Wide track from '12' to '13' becomes narrow just before Grangehill Farm. Watched golfers from '14', some bad shots but one good shot which I approved. Took photos of unusual birds on beach before '5'. Thought about my situation while on beach. Alone with the elements and nature. Nobody else on beach but me and beach ½ mile long. Sunny warm afternoon and brilliant views to hills inland and hills across Firth of Forth
