Aigrin Stone now replaced in an upright position. Interesting walk around farms and houses. Sheltered from sun behind telegraph pole at Mount Pleasant farm, start of Heptonstall Moor. Knocked on door at Lower Garple reservoir cottage. Asked for water for Ricky. The reservoir keeper's wife was very friendly. Ruins of Withins very interesting. Came face to face with a ram in a walled lane just before Ponden Reservoir. Ricky wasn't much help. Location: Start of Walk Hazards: Care required descending and ascending to and from road A646.
