Points of Interest and LINKS:
AA Walks Ilkley Town Ilkley Moor
Cow and Calf Rocks
Description:
Interesting and varied walk. Very good views strenuous walk in places. Walk returned memories of visit to moor as a teenager with John Harwood and George when John and I was both on holiday at Leeds, steam train spotting. We walked along Ilkley Crags and were trapped on a ledge, as we were trowing stones by a huge ram. We did not see the Cow and the Calf rocks that day.
