Cycled to Cubbington Village and parked bicycle against Austin Court street sign. Walked down passage alongside school playing field to the open fields. Followed public footpath across three fields to South Cubbington Wood. Slow stroll along the unofficial footpath around the wood, stopping at numerous points in the wood where the bluebells were particularly dense. Left the wood at Mill Lane and walked back to Cubbington. Followed an Orange Tip Butterfly along the lane for a few hundred yards until it hopped over the hedge into the field. I was hoping to take a good photograph of the butterfly, but it wouldn't land on a leaf for more than a fraction of a second. Perhaps next time. Wandered past the Church and the Kings Head Public House, back to the bike. An enjoyable afternoon's walk in the wood amongst the bluebells.

Hazards:
Always be careful when following a butterfly to take a photograph. It is easy to lose your balance and fall into the stinging nettles.
