Points of Interest:
AA Walks Cader Idris Pony Path
General:
Camping again at Harlech
Walked up Pony's Track and down Fox's Track. Cloudy walk from points 11 to 16 and misty from point 12 to the top. Sheltered in hut at the summit from wind and drizzle as it was chilly in the wind. Chased into hut by sheep after my sandwich. Needed extra clothing for descent. Amazed at the number of people who entered the hut about 13:00 and now standing room only. Rocky on top, steep descent to top of Fox Track. Found cairn at the top of Fox's Track without too much trouble. Very steep descent amonst very loose tocks and shale, extra care required. Fox's path difficult to follow in places especially acround boddy areas between streams, path undulating just before lane. Extensive views in clear weather.

Location Map: - www.streetmap.co.uk
Start & Finish: Parked at official carpark, 3 miles south-west of Dolgellau.

Hazards:
Walking in mist is very dangerous, take a good map and compass. Weather conditions very important on mountains. Warm and weather clothing essential.
