Excellent walk around lake amongst gardens. Chilly and damp underfoot. Ruins and totem pole an unexpected surprise. Many plants to see if visited in spring. Allow ample of time to enjoy this varied and unusal walk.
Hazards:
Care required after totem pole and points 9 and 12. Car park good, but map required to find easily. At unpopular times it may be more convenient to park at the parge car park adjacent to the waterfall.
