Miles 70 to Mile 75.5. Interesting and varied walk. Lovely cottages at Lower Kilcot. The somerset Monument closed to visitors. Pond in middle of village at Hawkesbury Upton requires cleaning. Parked bicycle at Alderley in entrance to large house.
Hazards:
Care required in Wotton Under Wdge especially around High Street, Long Street and the Church. Go to the top of Lisleway Hill and turn right along a lane to Wortley Hill.
