Sand very heavy going from South Haven Point to Studland. No relief from sand dunes slightly inland. Suprised lady scantitly dressed when passing chalet just before Studland. Excellent walk along cliff top past Old Harry Rocks. Good Views of nesting birds on cliffs. Bought an ice cream from the shop at the end of the path in Swanage.
In 1999 I decided to start the coastal path walk from the start at Minehead. See the whole walk here. . Hazards
Care required when following path into Swanage and on cliff edge. Shore line constantly being eroded because of soft chalk rocks.
