Description:
Excellent varied walk in all respects. Sylvia drove car to Bowlease Cove. At Bat's head we spoke to a butterfly collector. The timing of the day is as follows:
11:15 Lulworth Cove. 11:30 Dungy Head, 12:04 Swyre Head, 12:30 Bat's Head, Lunch at the White Northe House. 13:55 National Trust Post near house. 14:30 rest at at Ringstead Bay, 15:25 Osmington Mills, 13:45 Black Head, 16:05 rest at Red Cliff Point, and finished at 16:25 Bowlease Cove.
In 1999 I decided to start the coastal path walk from the start at Minehead. See the whole walk here. .


Animals & Butterflies:
4 x Kestrels, 14 x Sandwich Terns, 4 x Oyster Catchers, many Sky Larks, 1 x Goldfinch, and 4 x Wheaters. Various Butterflies: Peacocks, Red Admirals, Wall Browns, Large White and Small White.
